25 people awaiting in-patient beds at LUH

There’s been a sharp rise in overcrowding at Letterkenny University Hospital, with 25 people awaiting in-patient beds this morning, compared to nine yesterday.
Of those waiting this morning, seven were on Emergency Department trolleys.
Nationally, the INMO says there were 446 admitted patients awaiting beds at hospitals across the country, the highest number, 61 at University Hospital Limerick.
