Over €35,000 allocated to Donegal for Library supports

Library supports in Donegal are set for a major boost.
Under the Dormant Accounts Action Plan 2019 €650,000 has been provided to library supports for marginalised, socially excluded and disadvantaged communities nationally.
Over €26,578 is being contributed by the Department of Rural and Community Development with Donegal County Council contributing €8,859 in funding which will go towards a range of positive initiatives including; providing access to educational, lifelong learning, social inclusion, and community participation supports available through the public library service.
