Glengad United booked their place in the second round of the FAI Senior Cup with a win on penalties over Tipperary side St. Michael’s down in the Premier County on Saturday afternoon.
THe game finished scoreless after extra-time so it went to spot kicks. After a tense shootout, Glengad emerged winners by 8 v 7.
