The British Prime Minister says breaking his pledge to take the UK out of Europe on October 31st is “a matter of deep regret”.
Boris Johnson previously said he’d rather be “dead in a ditch” than ask for a second Brexit extension.
But last weekend the EU said it would allow Britain to leave as late as January 31st — or sooner if MPs back the withdrawal agreement.
