Ban on using loyalty points to buy alcohol on the way

 


New regulations are on the way banning the use of supermarket loyalty points to buy alcohol.
There will be a twelve month notice period before the measures take effect.
The Irish Independent reports short term price promotions of three days or fewer will be outlawed, covering products like slabs of beer.
