Derry and Ulster champions Slaughtneil have bowed out of the All Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship in the semi-final stage after they were defeated 2-24 to 2-19 by Ballyhale Shamrocks.
The Kilkenny side will defend their All Ireland crown against Tipperary’s Borris-Ileigh in the Final after they defeated St Thomas’ of Galway in Limerick.
