Tyrone All-Star Cathal McShane has revealed being offered a job at home was the deciding factor in him turning down a move to Australia.
It was confirmed this week that McShane would be returning to the Tyrone squad after having a trail with the Adelaide Crows.
He did admit he was very close to signing for the AFL club but has now returned to training with the Red Hand senior squad and will begin his new job with the Keystone Group.
The BBC say Manager Mickey Harte, former u21 boss Fergal Logan and Club Tyrone’s Jackie Duffy played key roles in securing McShane remains in Tyrone.
