There were 57 people awaiting admission to Letterkenny University Hospital this morning according to the INMO – a rise of three on yesterdays figure of 54.
17 people were on trolleys in its Emergency Department while a further 40 were waiting on wards.
It is once again the second most overcrowded hospital in Ireland today.
Nationally, there were 532 admitted patients waiting for beds this morning.
