Donegal and Derry to twin with Britain in new tourism plan

Julie Wakley, Tourism Ireland; Katy Best, Tourism Ireland board member; Christopher Brooke, Chairman of Tourism Ireland; Sinéad McGowan, Lough Eske Castle; and Helena Healy, B&B Ireland, before the Tourism Ireland board meeting in Donegal.

Tourism Ireland is rolling out a new ‘twinning’ initiative this year, which involves overseas markets ‘twinning with’ a specific region or area in Ireland.

Donegal and Derry are ‘twinning’ with Great Britain, and Tourism Ireland in Great Britain is placing a special focus on the North-West in 2022.
