Agriculture Minister says increase in dairy income ‘unusually strong’

The Agriculture Minister says the 50% increase in dairy income seen in 2022 is “unusually strong”.

According to the Teagasc economic outlook report, the average income for 2022 was around €148,000 a year.

However, it’s warning of a 15% decrease in milk prices for 2023.
