A number of North West players have been selected on the Ulster Rugby Junior side for the first game of the 2022/23 Interprovincial Series, away to Leinster this Saturday 29th April [2.30pm KO].
Ulster Juniors are a senior men’s team which is selected from the best players in Championship 1, 2, and 3, and will be hoping to build on last season’s 2nd place finish in the Series.
Adam Bratton is the sole Letterkenny representative on the squad while City of Derry have two players named with vice-captain Stephen Corr in the starting 15 and Davey Graham among the match day cover.
On their preparation for the first fixture, Head Coach Graeme Eastwood said, “The players have worked extremely hard over the past six weeks and are looking forward to starting their campaign this weekend away to Leinster.
“We recorded a 21-10 victory over Leinster last season and we feel that we are in a good place heading into this weekend. The squad has a good mixture of youth and experience and it’s a credit to everyone selected for all their hard work throughout the season with their respective clubs.”
