There’s a call to scrap funding to the greyhound industry.
The Social Democrats says the Government is propping up a sport that’s in “terminal decline” and is wasting taxpayer’s money in the process.
It comes after a report showed 1.5 billion euro in public money was funnelled into the Horse and Greyhound Fund in the past 20 years.
