Gardai and the Rescue 118 helicopter are currently involved in an ongoing operation in the Slieve League area.
The Irish Coastguard have confirmed to Highland Radio News that they are assisting gardai, but would give no further details.
Gardai have confirmed there is no access to Sliabh League this morning, but again would make no further comment.
