A Donegal Senator is calling for funding under the Sports Capital and Equipment Programme to be allocated to a pilot project in Ardara that would see the ladies gaelic team wearing dark coloured shorts.
Senator Eileen Flynn says the investment would give women the confidence the play while they are on their period.
She says its a ‘no brainer’:
