Despite nearing a return to action for Everton, Seamus Coleman hasn’t been selected by manager Stephen Kenny for Ireland’s final Euro 2024 qualifier against the Netherlands.
The only game time Coleman has had in recent weeks has been with the Everton Under-21s, the Donegal man has been out since May with a knee injury
Troy Parrott and Caoimhin Kelleher are back in the squad, three days after the final Euro qualifier, James McClean will return to the Ireland squad for a friendly against New Zealand.The match set to be his 103rd and final cap for the Republic of Ireland with the player set to retire at the end of the 2023 campaign.
