Institute have confirmed the signing of former Northern Ireland International Daniel Lafferty.
Having spent the past year with Sligo Rovers, a move back to the city of Derry was tempting for the 34 year who’s clubs include Sheffield United and Burley.
The left back has also had stints with Derry City and Shamrock Rovers in the League of Ireland.
His deal at Stute will also allow him to continue with his underage coaching roles at Derry City.
Lafferty will be hoping to help Institute return to the Irish League Premiership, they currently sit top of the championship, a point ahead of Dundela but have two games more played.
