The Irish Coast Guard has revealed a first look at its new aircraft fleet.
It includes six search and rescue helicopters located in Sligo, Dublin, Shannon and Waterford as well as a dedicated fixed wing service to be located at Shannon Airport.
This will enhance the services ability to coordinate Search and Rescue missions and conduct environmental and ship casualty monitoring of Ireland’s Exclusive Economic Zone.
