Labour party calls for reforms to abortion services

Labour’s calling for urgent reforms to abortion services for women in Ireland.

The party’s Senator Annie Hoey says women are still being forced to travel abroad for healthcare six years after the repeal of the 8th amendment.

Senator Hoey says there are still too many barriers, including the restrictive nature of the 12-week rule and the scarcity of healthcare providers in rural areas.
