A Donegal Deputy says that fundraising for local and community groups is not the same as targeted gambling advertisements.
Sinn Fein opposed a Gambling Bill put forward by Minister James Browne which would hamper fundraising efforts.
It is believed amendments are being made, however the nature of which is yet to be revealed.
