Thunderstorm warning in place for Donegal this afternoon

A status yellow thunderstorm warning has been issued for Donegal and the west coast.

It will run from 3 o’clock this afternoon.

The alert will be in place until 9 o’clock tonight – with Met Éireann warning of the chance of flooding and difficult travelling conditions.
