A 50 year old man is due in court today charged in connection with the discovery of a suspected firearm and large quantity of drugs in Derry and Antrim.
Searches were carried out in both areas yesterday as part of the operation.
The man is charged with possessing ammunition and a firearm in suspicious circumstances, possessing an article with blade or point in a public place, possession of a Class A, Class B and Class C controlled drug as well as intent to supply a Class C controlled drug.
He is due before Derry Magistrates Court this morning.
A 58 year old man also arrested as part of the investigation has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
