The Taoiseach and the US President discussed the situation in Gaza, by phone last night.
It was the first call between the two leaders, and started with Joe Biden congratulating Simon Harris on his new position.
The pair discussed the need for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, the need for aid to flow freely, and for all hostages to be released.
