An emergency appeal has been issued by the ISPCA Donegal Animal Rehabilitation Centre as catteries across the county are overflowing.
A spokesperson says kittens and cats can be adopted to a forever home, or alternatively fostered.
This is where the animal is housed on a temporary basis until a permanent home is found.
