Finn Harps suffered an eighth defeat of the First Division campaign on Friday night, losing 1-0 to league leaders Cork City.
The only goal at Turners Cross came just past the hour mark, it was a wonderful goal from Cathal O’Sullivan.
Harps will return to Cork City next weekend for a second round FAI Cup tie.
Despite defeat the Ballybofey side stay fourth in the standings.
