The N56 road through Kilmacrennan village is closed and it will remain closed for a period of time following a serious Road Traffic Collision overnight.
Diversions are in place, with traffic being diverted via Milford and Churchill, with Gardai urging people to avoid the area if possible.
As of yet gardai have not confirmed the extent of injuries, if any, sustained in the crash.
