Former BBC newsreader Huw Edwards has pleaded guilty to three counts of making indecent images of children – including one as young as seven.
It relates to 41 photographs, including seven of the most serious type, found on WhatsApp between December 2020 and April 2022.
The 62-year-old’s barrister claims Mr Edwards had suffered “both mental and physical” health issues.
