Inflatables should never be used on open water, like at the beach.
That’s the message from the Irish Coast Guard as part of its joint appeal with Lifeboats and Water Safety Ireland.
They’ve urged anyone who plans to spend time in the sea over the Bank Holiday to bring something they can use to call for help.
