Man who drowned in Donegal named locally

The man who died in a drowning tragedy in Donegal this week has been named locally as Valerri Strunhar, a native of Ukraine.

Mr Strunhar who was in his 60s got into difficulty in Marmaeelan on Monday evening.

Having left Ukraine, he had been living at Bunbeg House in Gweedore.

A service will be held tomorrow evening in Dungloe.
