A Sinn Féin MEP has described Brian Stanley’s claims about the party’s internal process as deeply disingenuous.
Deputy Stanley has resigned from the party after 40 years, citing unfair treatment in an internal inquiry into a complaint made against him.
The head of the public accounts committee described the process as resembling a Kangaroo Court.
