Latest opinion poll shows boost in support for Sinn Féin

Sinn Féin has received a slight bump in the latest poll.

As the election campaign enters its second week, the main opposition party sits on 18 per cent, up two points since October.

The Sunday Times/Opinions poll puts Fianna Fáil on 20 per cent, up one – while Fine Gael, which is down one, still leads on 23 per cent.

A sample of a thousand adults were interviewed online between the 7th and the 16th of November.

Sinn Féin leader Mary Lou McDonald says the poll reflects what they’re hearing on the doors.
