Mica Action Group says newly elected Government must priorities defective concrete block crisis

Chairperson of the Mica Action Group says the newly elected Government must prioritise the defective concrete block crisis.

The group says the current Government has failed to appoint Senior Council to pursue offenders and an Independent Building Regulator and to fund an effective market surveillance system to prevent further occurrence.

Lisa Hone says families and communities affected by the crisis must take this into consideration ahead of the General Election on Friday.
