Derry researchers develop faster and more accurate method to diagnose Chronic Kidney Disease

Researchers in Derry have developed a faster and more accurate method for diagnosing Chronic Kidney Disease and predicting severe cases of Covid-19.

The Personalised Medicine Centre at Ulster University says the pioneering research could also be key in preventing disease.

Dr Taranjit Singh Rai is a Senior Lecturer at the University’s School of Medicine and says this new development means patients will be able to receive treatment sooner:
