Investigation launched into alleged assault in Ballybofey

A man who was allegedly assaulted in Ballybofey in the early hours of Saturday morning received hospital treatment for his injuries.
Gardaí are now seeking information.
The incident was reported to have occurred at 3:40 am at a takeaway premises on Main Street when a man assaulted another man.
Those with information or dashcam footage are asked to make it available to gardaí.
