A woman in her 80s has died in a road crash in County Clare.
It happened at around 2pm yesterday at Kilcarroll near Kilrush.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, and her body has been taken to the mortuary at University Hospital Limerick.
It brings to 178, the number of people who have died on Irish roads this year.
