Ireland should take Austrain-inspired approach to housing crisis – MEP Mullooly

Ireland must take an Austrian-inspired approach to the housing crisis.

That’s according to Midlands-North-West MEP Ciaran Mullooly.

He says the model would combine high-quality social housing with mixed-income communities, encouraging integration while keeping rents affordable.

MEP says Government plans to deliver 300,000 new homes before 2030 won’t be done unless the new housing Minister adapts the creative European and Austrian models to achieve it:
