Northern Ireland’s First and deputy First Ministers are expected to meet the King at Windsor Castle outside London later.
It’s reported the British monarch is hosting political leaders from the devolved nations for dinner.
Michelle O’Neill – who is Northern Ireland’s first ever Republican First Minister – previously met King Charles when he visited Northern Ireland in 2022 after the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II.
She also went to his Coronation the following year.
