An investigation is underway following the discovery of a suspect device in County Clare yesterday.
The discovery was made inside a car parked at Shlee on chun-ig in Shannon yesterday afternoon.
The Army’s Explosive Ordnance Disposal team was called in and removed the car for further examination.
The road was closed for a time and cordon was put in place, but it has since reopened.
