An orange-level forest fire warning has been issued.
The Department of Agriculture is highlighting the dangers from fires in wooded areas or other public locations.
It’s asking visitors to forests, parks, or beaches not to use a barbeque or any other source of ignition.
So far this year, over 4,500 hectares of land have been affected by fires.
