Leading supermarkets cut the price of own-brand bread

There are fresh hopes of a supermarket price war in the lead-up to Christmas.

Lidl and Aldi have both dropped the price of their own-brand bread, following on from a milk price cut last month.

A response from their other rivals is expected.
