Figures from the INMO show that 70 people in the north west were waiting in hospital for a bed this morning.
34 patients were waiting at Letterkenny University Hospital while 36 were waiting at Sligo University Hospital.
In Letterkenny, 13 patients were on trolleys in the Emergency Department.
