It wasn’t to be for Alesha Mullis-Boyle in the European U17 Boxing Championship this morning.
The Dungloe boxer lost out to Ukraine’s Kateryna Moroz in their quarter final bout in Germany.
Alesha won the Irish U17 66 kg title earlier this year and produced some brilliant performances in 2025 to earn her place at the Europeans.
