Three pedestrians injured in two collisions in East Donegal

 

Gardaí are investigating two road collisions last week in which pedestrians were injured.

Shortly after 6.30 on Wednesday morning, gardai attended an incident on the N14 at Drumcairn involving two pedestrians and a car. The pedestrians were brought to hospital for treatment for non life threatening injuries. The driver was unhurt.

At 11.15 the following evening, there was a collision a pedestrian and a car on the R236 at Magheraboy, Raphoe.

The pedestrian was taken by ambulance to Letterkenny University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, the driver and passengers in the car were unhurt.

Gardai in Letterkenny are investigating both incidents, and are urging witnesses, or anyone with dash-cam footage to come forward.

Gardaí attended the scene of a road traffic collision on the N14 at Drumcairn, Manorcunningham on Wednesday the 17 th of December shortly after 6.30am. The collision
involved two pedestrians and a car.

The driver was not injured. The two pedestrians were taken to Letterkenny University Hospital to receive medical treatment for non-life threatening injuries.

We appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to get in touch with Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100. If anyone travelled along that route (N14) with a dash-cam around that time, we ask them to please make the footage available to us.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses in connection with a road traffic collision that happened on the R236 at Magheraboy, Raphoe on Thursday the 18 th of December at approx. 11.15pm.

The collision involved a pedestrian and a car. The driver and passengers were uninjured. The pedestrian involved was taken by ambulance to Letterkenny University Hospital to receive medical treatment for non-life threatening injuries.
