An Inishowen councillor has received assurances on the status of Buncrana Courthouse.
The court service confirmed at a meeting concerning the closure of Carndonagh Courthouse there are no plans to close or relocate court services in Buncrana.
Cllr Albert Doherty said he was delighted by the news, but during a thorough conversation during the meeting there is a lot of work needed into facilities around the town.
