Drivers urged to take care as arctic conditions grip Donegal

Met Eireann is appealing for road users to be cautious this morning after an Artic blast hit the country over night.

Temperatures were below freezing in many areas, with the forecaster warning of ‘treacherous’ travelling conditions throughout the day.

A status yellow warning for snow will stay in place in Donegal until 11am.

Snow and ice warnings are also in place for Derry and Tyrone.
