Letterkenny Youth and Family Service have expressed their shock and sadness after they were given an ultimatum when being offered a sizeable financial donation.
This required them to guarantee it would go to ‘Irish families only’.
In a statement on social media, the service says this “directly contradicts” their ethos.
They say discrimination has no place in their work and they will not tolerate the exclusion of any member of the community.
