Uisce Éireann is advising customers in Ballybofey, Stranorlar and surrounding areas that overnight water restrictions will be in place tonight from 10pm to 7am tomorrow morning to assist with the recovery of reservoir levels.
The restrictions follow essential maintenance works carried out yesterday, which temporarily impacted storage levels. Night-time measures are now necessary to allow reservoirs to replenish and to help maintain a stable daytime supply for customers.
Customers in the affected areas may experience reduced pressure or intermittent supply during these hours.
