Minister of State for Sport, Charlie McConalogue says the government are open to offering financial support to Katie Taylor’s retirement fight.
Taylor confirmed on Monday that she will hang up her gloves at the end of the year, and reiterated her desire to bow out with a fight in Croke Park.
