Civil trial against Gerry Adams continues today

Gerry Adams is to take the stand in London later, in a civil trial brought by three men who were injured in separate IRA bomb attacks.

They’re all are suing the former Sinn Féin president, claiming he was involved – at least on a strategic level – in decisions that led to the blasts.

They’re seeking symbolic damages of one pound.

Mr. Adams denies he had any role in the Provisional IRA.
