Scramblers officially banned from public places


Scramblers are being banned from public places from today.

Under Grace’s Law, the bikes are not allowed to be driven in parks, roads and other public areas.

The legislation is coming in following the death of 16-year-old Grace Lynch, who was hit by a scrambler in Finglas in Dublin in January.

Transport Minister Darragh O’Brien hopes the new regulations will be a small consolation for the family:
