New parking restrictions are now being enforced at Big White Bay in Greencastle.
Double Yellow lines have been painted which prohibits motorists from parking on the side of the road toward the beach.
Cathaoirleach of Inishowen Municipal District, Cllr Martin Farren has urged everyone to recognise the new lines.
He says it is particularly important to keep access clear for emergency vehicles to get to the beach:
